Wouldn’t it be great if you could play two characters in the same game at the same time? That’s what Austin Evans, one of the US’s top influencers, does in this video. It looks like magic, but it’s actually Magic: the HONOR Magic V2.

The feature Evans is using is called Parallel Space, and it’s one of the amazing innovations HONOR has packed into its ultimate folding phone. First of all, Evans uses Parallel Space to open his game with one account – and then he opens the game a second time, this time with a different account. As you can see in the video, both sides run incredibly smoothly and seamlessly without any lag.

Gaming is one of the most demanding things you can do on a phone – and yet the HONOR Magic V2 isn’t even slightly out of breath. That same silky-smooth performance and Parallel Space is available to all your apps, so you could use two different social media accounts simultaneously, or use a work app with maximum security while also enjoying some online entertainment.

A safer space for your personal stuff

Parallel Space is a really clever feature that makes your phone safer, smarter and more personal too. It uses chip-level processing and security to create a second, secure space on your phone, and you can use that space to achieve all kinds of things: protecting your personal photos, securing your sensitive documents and running apps with maximum security protection without also having to lock down the rest of your phone.

What’s really impressive about Parallel Space is that you can run it alongside the rest of your apps in the main space. And that opens up some really interesting possibilities, like running two instances of the same app or game at the same time. Fancy playing two characters at once? It also enables you to run multiple instances of the same browser, which is useful for separating your work and personal lives and for seeing if websites offer you better ticket or booking prices when they think you’re a brand new visitor.

Incredibly powerful. Amazingly portable

The HONOR Magic V2 is incredibly powerful, and it’s also incredibly light and incredibly slim when it’s folded: just 9.9mm in size, with a super light weight of just 231g including the battery. That means it’s a pocket rocket, because while it’s very small when you fold it, it’s a very big deal when you open it up.

HONOR’s ultra-slim, ultra-light phone becomes as big as a tablet when you unfold it, delivering genuine multi-tasking for gaming, socials and work and protecting your most personal items too.

The HONOR Magic V2 is amazing, and it’s the beginning of something even bigger. HONOR wants to use the power of tech to make everything safer, more useful and more stylish too. With the Magic V2, it’s unfolding the future.

Do more with your folding phone

Split screen is pretty common on folding phones, but you’ve not seen split-screen like this. HONOR’s technology enables you to do lots of useful things. For example, Parallel Space makes it simple and safe to transfer your information from a work account to a personal account, and you can use it to store your sensitive data such as your e-payment details in a way that’s really secure without having to lock down your whole phone: simply switch to Parallel Space when you want to make a payment and then switch back when you’re done.

The future folds

HONOR believes that folding phones are the future, and its vision of the future is a particularly exciting one – and you can see for yourself when it streams from the IFA 2023 show on 1 September. HONOR’s keynote, “Unfolding Tomorrow”, is definitely one to watch; as HONOR puts it, “It’s time for foldable smartphones to step into the limelight, using technology to empower the fashion industry and reshape future life experiences.”

HONOR tells us it’ll be demonstrating not just one innovation but a whole series of them, innovations that’ll help us see the connected future: what will life be like when our phones know us even better than our friends do, when your phone is a fashion item as well as functional, when the smartphone is at the very centre of your digital life? This is one stream you really don’t want to miss.
