The James Webb Space Telescope recorded new views of the bright star Fomalhaut. Scientists used them to identify three large belts of debris that ring the star (our sun has just two, the asteroid belt and the Kuiper belt).
“It’s complex — there’s so much going on!” said Andras Gaspar, an astronomer at the University of Arizona.
