Just to let you all know that WordPress 2.9 Beta 1 is just released for free download. If you are interested in testing the upcoming WordPress version, you can do it now.
WordPress 2.9 is still in beta, you can use it to test it and report bugs back to WordPress development team. However, do not use it on a production blog yet and remember to backup your database for safety as usual
I got the news from Weblog Tools Collection 5 minutes ago and I would like to share with you guys widely. You can go to the DevBlog to get the link right below.
I have just downloaded this version and will test it on my demo blog and see how amazing this version will be.

Yes, you should only test Beta on Demo blog or backup your database first to avoid any mistake during the installation process
