Google vs Digg Traffic: Which Helps You Earn The Most with Chitika?

Chitika Premium is among to revenue sharing network which can work with Google Adsense. I have earned some pretty good money with Chitika network. My revenue has been boosted since Chitika Premium was released with high CTR and CPC was also very much improved especially that for traffic source from USA and Canada.

For every ad revenue sharing network, high traffic sometimes does not help you very much in boosting your revenue. If you have a million visits per month but 95% from asian countries like India or Vietnam, while I have half of yours but 80% from USA and Canada or even Japan, my revenue will surely be higher than yours. Google Adsense, Chitika or Shopzilla…usually filter out sources of traffic. The traffic sources that make high conversion rates are always from developed countries like USA, Canada…

How to drive USA traffic to your blog is a big question. The only way is to invest in your content and choose the best channel where USA traffic can be generated, seems from Digg. The CTR from Digg is quite high and CPC is also higher than any other sources even Google.

According to the long last research conducted by Chitika network, the Digg Traffic is more than 3 times Less Likely to Click on an Ad than Google Traffic:

Google Traffic VS Digg Traffic

Here are some results for your reference:

  1. The google traffic resulted in a CTR of 0.97% on the RPU ads — compared to 0.30% for the Digg traffic.
  2. Digg traffic is more than 3 times less likely to click on an Ad than Google traffic.
  3. Publishers who talk about Diggable topics like Apple, Games, Linux, etc seemed to get Dugg a lot. This indirectly confirms the demographic profile of the classic Digg user (think college-going Internet power user).

Dealing with Digg Traffic:

To get most traffic from Digg is that you need to have your posts most dugg. To do this, you need to have good and high quality contents from HOT niche. The other thing you can do is to make as many friends as possible from Digg as your friends are likely to digg your posts rather than strangers.

Frankly, my revenue from Chitika now is a bit higher than adsense and my CPC from Chitika Premium is floating from $0.02 to $0.75/click. That is pretty good compared to Google Adsense CPC, right?

I hope Chitika Premium program can become popolar more than or equal Google Adsense. Then people can choose between two of them to join and make money. Nowaday, Google Adsense always make publisher feel hard to begin with them.

That is why SE traffic is quite targeted and Chitika love it. If someone seaching for something, that means s/he really need it and conversion rate must be high
