I am sure that many of you have experienced with significant adsense earning down recently either your low-paying niche keywords or advertisers are making low bid due to economic crisis. The answer is unclear as the Q4 Google Revenue was quite positive. However, the revenue share was down from 75% to 72% as reported by Digital Inspiration.
Many of you have tried to use high paying keywords in the hope to drive highly profitable click but it seems Google is smart enough to validate this and most of you still face with low revenue from your Adsense. There are a lot of tutorials that can help your boost your adsense earning by using adsense multiple palettes or replacing PSAs with your own ads or even using larger ad content units. However, the important factor is that advertisers do not make high bid and Google decrease the revenue share rate.
As reported by SERoundtable blog, AdSense publishers were complaining about lower earnings. So, this blog has run quick poll to get opinions how many percents of publishers who had the same problem with adsense earning and here is the result.
I asked, Have Your AdSense Earnings Dropped in February, from January? is the question raised for the poll.
51 people or 59.3% said Yes, 31 people or 36% said No and 4 people had other things to say. Here is the chart:

How about yours? My adsense earning also dropped recently and that is why I have not put it on this blog for a while and I am happy with affiliate commission.

The rate drop is because of the number of blogs and websites evolving each day, that the prices have gone down to this extent, Now the scenario has become like Direct advertising is the only solution to the problem . As they return way more money than adsense

It is weird as Google revenue still increase?
Why do people say to join adsense to those who are under 18 yrs old ? Also YOU cannot GET ads added to a website instantly anymore ! YOUR site must be up on the net for 6 months BEFORE you can put in ad scripts ! Also adsense has changed to smart pricing for advertisers that cut the cost per click down drastically ! IN other words it will take you 2 years to create 100 websites and blogs and get mucho traffic to each per day to start earning good money with any ad program !
SEO – wait a sec here. Google has imposed a 6 month wait period for Adsense? When did this happen?

It’s a specialised business blog. The reason it is increasing is because I have been doing some theme tweaking and my search engine traffic is increasing.

Many people have seen their Adsense income gone down, but I think it has something to do with the bad economy at the moment.Advertisers are spending less money on Adwords right now, and this means less income for Adsense publishers.

economic crisis can be one key reason but Google revenue from adwords still increase! That is what I am concerned!

Might be it depends on niche. For me it was bit better than previous month or might be I am still evolving and gaining better exposure resulting increase in earning.

Niche is important but seeing the percentage down from quarter to quarter fro Google revenue report, we can know the policy changed! :$$$:

Yes its just happening for me, my adsense earning going very less than before, I think internet surfer are now not going interested to click on adsense ads anymore.

I display Adsense in my 6 blogs, I picked 3 specific niches: 1. Webhosting, 2. Smartphone, and 3. Web designs and on the other 3 blogs I just fill them with any hot news that people are searching and so far they generate me good earnings
