It is possible that many of you who are putting Google Adsense ads on your blog can not see advertisements or some weird changes during this Saturday as Google is now implementing its regular maintenance on January 9, 2009. Here is the announcement on Google Adsense Blog:
This Saturday, our engineers will be performing routine site maintenance from 10am to 2pm PDT. You’ll be unable to log in to your AdSense and Ad Manager accounts during this time, but we’ll continue serving ads to your pages and tracking your clicks, impressions, and earnings as usual. In addition, your ad targeting won’t be affected.
We’ve converted the maintenance start time for a few cities around the world:
Istanbul – 8pm Saturday
Sao Paolo – 4pm Saturday
Oslo – 7pm Saturday
Nairobi – 9pm Saturday

The reason why I reposted this announcement is that many of you might be experiencing with some weird changes during the time. It is not unusual activities, it can be caused by their maintenance.

No worries man! If you try your best with with endless effort by re-submitting several times, each time rejected, you add more contents, invest more efforts and the next time will be better. I have done this tips and the fifth time application was approved! :cheers:

So no need to worry about advertisement viewing on site. Only user will face problem when they try to log in into their account.

That is their default message to their publishers but many of bloggers have experienced with downtime and strange things with their ads like no matching ads served based on contents. Anyway, it took for a short time then it is quite ok!
Yup, I think the users will have problem only in the Adsense site not in the Ads. :yeah:

Well, as Google Adsense is still #1 then our smaller voice sometimes is not heard! Anyway, it seems so ok now!
I Googled AdSense maintenance and came across your blog. I’m glad that I’m not the only one experiencing this and that this is not coming from my end! I didn’t get that notice that you posted up there – maybe I need to update my email address on AdSense or something. I need to know exactly when they’re going to undergo routine maintenance.
