As you all know, Google Adsense has become a tool that many bloggers, webmasters and businessmen used to earn their living so far. Revenue from Google Adsense is always the hot news in many webmaster forums including Digital Point Forum.
I have just seen a poll created by a member to survey October earnings from all publishers who participated in and not all responders voted. This result is only for reference and it could not represent the adsense earning of whole blogger community as I know that many big and pro bloggers especially premium adsense publisher did not join this poll:
Anyway, there are very few people who could make >$2k from Google Adsense in October, 2009 and most of voters earned less than <$100 with 44% of the total votes.
I am one of the voters in this poll. However, I think I should focus on contents and promote my blog first and it will automatically generate money for me :$$$: .

Digital Forum has a adsense revenue sharing program. But I am wary at posting my account there because last time I included a link there, somebody click bombed my website.

It is not revenue sharing network anymore since it was banned by Google. Only bloggers high ranking with good reputation are now offered revenue sharing opportunity. I quit :nooo:
To make 2K with Adsense you would need one site that has at least 10,000 hits a day or 100 sites that get at least 20 hits a day and they would all have to be in high paying niches which will generate clicks over .75c each.
Your calculation is correct mathematically but revenue depends on many factors and traffic is #1 but source of traffic is rather important. If your traffic has 80% from Digg and USA, I am sure 50k alexa can make that much even higher :$$$:
Adsense is not pulling out money for publishers. They are trying hard and hard to curb commissions to publishers and increasing the CPC for most of the keywords..
