Yes, however, it is a big site so Google will not terminate them, just a mistake I guess

Maybe just give dp a warning, google is very strict

DP is lucky as they used allowed sites feature, otherwise, they had no evidence to show with Google.

Hi Tinh! Glad to hear that people can get back the adsense account after being banned. However, i never get it back now. I appealed to Adsense team but they still refuse to reinstate my account. It is difficult to get back the account i think. Anyway, thanks for your sharing!

That is why we should consider using allowed sites feature.

I do not think so. Anyway, that is Google issues not DP :-)

Googles whitelist has always had issues, i have all my websites listed on it but still receive warnings that my ads are showing on illegal websites.

Reply

Tinh July 23, 2010 at 8:10 am

Anyway, we can try that feature to protect ourselves

I have heard this first time that you have submitted allowed sites to Google and nevertheless Google is showing ads on those unknown sites….
Now what Publisher can do :(

Tinh July 23, 2010 at 8:11 am

We should use it to protect our account as if google disable your account for showing ads on different sites that you do not own, you can show them evidence

I guess Google just wants to give a warning to DP. In my eyes, it seems that DP has actions that are against the Google policies.

Noone knows, just DP and Google knows, the advantages that DP has is their community support that Google could not ignore :-)

This is the goodwill effect of Digital Point to produce one billion impressions and other adsense favors that bounded Google to uplift the ban and might it is right too.

Hi Tinh,

I’m not much of an Adsense user but I’m sure once I’ve made enough I’ll be tinkering with it a bit. I’ve heard horror stories about accounts like that and this story shows policies do not exclude anyone. Just be careful of who you publish your IDs with. Thanks for the info!
