Google is planning to attract more users to its blogging service and trying to make blogger.com platform as friendly as possible with a lot of new features added since its 10th year birthday. There have been a lot of great functions such as Pages and now, you will get a great tool that helps you design your own templates with few clicks!
The Blogger Template Designer is the newest feature that has just been integrated into the Blogger In Draft that allows you to design you own template without touching on its code or CSS. The only thing you can do is to click and click. I have made my own in less than 3 mins. See my DEMO!
To do this, you need to use Blogger In Draft (http://draft.blogger.com) instead of Blogger.com with the same username and password. You need to navigate to the Settings -> Layouts – > Page elements. You can choose among 15 highly-customizable, fresh and professional templates with hundreds of backgrounds….You do not need to do anything, just select what of your interest and get your own template within 5mins!

It seems that Google not only plan to drive more users to their side but also help bloggers to design validated and standardized templates that Googlebots can easily work with. There are a lot of free templates on the internet but we are not sure whether they are compliant to Google standards or not.

Wow, I don’t use Google blogger anymore but that easy template designer looks snazzy. In my opinion, WordPress is the best and always will be the best
. That doesn’t mean WordPress is the easiest to use however. I still recommend Google blogger for bloggers who are not very experienced. It’s a good place to start.

Free hosting and never afraid of hackers too, that is good thing too. Newbie should use it to save cost too. WP is still #1
One of my blogs is on Blogger. I customized that one quite heavily, adding a menu bar among other things. The footer was always on my ‘to do’ list, so I intend to try the new Template designer. Who knows, I may change themes if only to clean up the code so that third party commenting systems work! — long story.
